Meta’s photo and video sharing social media platform Instagram is known for its filters and built-in editing options. However, the app uploads images and videos in lower resolution by default, which makes it easier for users to save data and also allows for faster uploads.
Did you know that users have the option to upload HD photos and videos to Instagram? With this feature enabled, users will be able to upload high-quality content to Instagram with greater detail and clarity.
Here’s how to upload HD content to Instagram:
For Android users, click the profile him icon in the bottom right corner, click the hamburger menu in the top right corner, click Settings & Privacy > Data Usage & Media Quality > and select the highest quality Enable upload. This will automatically upload your photos and videos in the highest possible quality. However, please note that it may take some time to upload media to Instagram, depending on your internet speed.
For iPhone users, click the profile him icon in the bottom right corner, click the hamburger menu in the top right corner, click Settings > Preferences > Data Usage > and select Best Quality. Enable upload. iPhones also have an option called Use less mobile data.
