However, you can go to the settings to check if you don't know which operating system your iPhone or Android phone is running on. If you are an iPhone user, for instance, go to Settings > General > Information. You can search your iPhone's device information there. Similarly, you can go to Settings > About Phone when you are an Android user. So now you can do it for those who have the option of upgrading their phones to the new apps. But for those who don't have the option of upgrading their apps, in order to access WhatsApp on their phones, they'll have to get a newphone.
