Google’s recent I/O developer conference was all about AI this year. From AI-powered photo editing tools like Magic Editor to Bard AI, most of the two-hour event was dominated by demonstrations of his AI-powered tools at Google. Another notable new AI tool the company unveiled at his I/O 2023 is Google Help Me Write.
As the name suggests, Google’s “Help Me Write” is a new feature in products like Gmail and Docs that aims to make writing easier for users. From composing a quick email to an employer to sending a formal invitation, Google Help Me Write is designed to save everyone time and resources, and it’s all powered by generative AI technology. It’s similar to the smart prompts Google has offered for services like Gmail in the past, but this time it’s even stronger. As soon as the user enters the prompt, the AI takes the sample, analyzes it, and creates a detailed or condensed version. It also allows users to further customize the output with options such as formatting, detailing, and trimming, and there’s even a “feel lucky” option in the text adjustment menu.
